Our school has given us an activity what so called SMRC or Summer Reading and Math Camp. It is specially prepared for Grades 1 to 6 who experiencing difficulty in English and Mathematics. We became a volunteer to assist teachers during that summer.
Suddenly, I didn't finish it because my mama was diagnosed of pneumonia. She cant hardly breathe, so I decided to discontinue attending the class to take care of my mama. Even though I did not accomplished it and after my mama was being discharged from the hospital, I decided to visit again the elementary school to meet them.
This photo above is the last day of the reading and math camp program and i didn't missed it!
I am so happy to become part of their elementary life. I salute the teachers out there who really a have big heart to teach them eagerly. Even if it is really hard dealing with those naughty students.
I learned that you have to be thankful each day of your life, specially to those people who helped you from where you are right now. Look back and appreciate what they have done to you.
Just give back the love, it really matters.
