I heard there are boys and girls with watermelons but the information about bell peppers impressed me, frankly speaking.)))) That is why I would like to share that with you.
Bell Pepper
When you buy a bell pepper, turn it upside down. The bell pepper which has four segments is a girl. It has more seeds and it is SWEETER (no doubts)))) It it is recommended to eat it raw. Boys have 3 segments and it is better to use them for cooking.
Cucumber
If you cut a cucumber and seeds make a triangle, it is a boy. If seeds make a square, it is a girl.
Watermelon
A Girl-watermelon has a flatter "butt" and a spot in the middle is bigger. A boy - watermelon has more raised "butt", the middle is deepened and the spot is less. And they say girls - watermelons are sweeter and have less seeds.

I wonder where you learned this. It is not based on botany or any other plant science. Watermelons and cucumbers have male and female flowers on the same plant. The male flower provides pollen and the female flower produces the melon or cucumber, which of course has the seeds of future plants. On a pepper, each flower has both the male and female parts. I hope you are able to find a better source of information about plants. And I hope you post about that in another TIL!
