I had asked an Indi friend of mine. (following could be wrong) He said that Pakistan has a printing press that has been counterfeiting the currency and dumping in Cashmere, so India has been working on this exchange program in secret for months. Also, I hear that Cashmere is heating up. I understand the situation to be more dangerous than is being discussed in media.
BTW....1000 rupee is only about $15 USD. This is huge scale operation.
I'm not sure what you mean , are you saying Pakistan are counterfeiting the new rupee? Or what? Dumping what into cashmere?
