Today I learned my 8 month old son looks to have a hemorrhoid...found it while giving him a bath today.

Baby mommy was giving the babies a bath today and my 8 month old son looks to have a hemorrhoid and I'm just wondering how crazy is this? Is it possible? It wasn't there yesterday or even this morning.

Im sure it's nothing serious, but prayers and good thoughts from those who read this.

I'm sure Harvey will never read this, and I'm just wondering if any parents or medical professionals dealt with this before. Thank you for any information.

Harvey is going to pull through with an infection. I don't like my boys having any health issues, but it's part of this life. Thank you for all the caring comments.

If he's on formula then that's likely the culprit. Try swapping to Hipp Organic. It eliminates any undigested chunks in baby poo and is the closest to what nature intended.

@saiku, just mommy's milk and he has never seemed constipated. Healthy happy baby.

Can try this but run by doctor first: https://www.amazon.com/Tucks-Medicated-Witch-Hazel-Hemorrhoidal/dp/B000GG850U?th=1 Hope he gets better soon.

Happens...I have one now...may be from straining during bowel movements

lol OVERshare lol : )

@crok, I'm laughing here and hard.

@robyneggs, thank you for the comment. I will let you know what doctor says tomorrow.

yeah, hope it is nothing, and kids are super resilient and able to bounce back from so much. I guess Doctor visit should be next.
Is the child constipated or does he strain when going to the restroom? This would definitely be a cause.
Might need something in the diet that makes for "smoothe moves."

@streetstyle, he never seems to struggle. We will see what his doctor says tomorrow.

Sometimes, if they strain too hard to have a BM, it can happen. They're usually nothing to be too concerned about, and they often go away on their own.
As a parent, myself, I can relate to your worry, however. Never can be too cautious when you're talking about your children. I'm sure, and I hope, that it is nothing, but a mild irritation. Steem on, @runridefly

@blancobasura, thank you my friend. Let you know what I learn tomorrow.

havne't heard of children getting it that young? sure it's nothing though they are very common aren't they?

@doitvoluntarily, I appreciatethe comment my friend. We love our babies.

best of luck at the docs. I hope it's just a case of needing more fibre! As streetstyle said, kids are resilient so try not to worry.

@benjojo, i appreciate that my friend. We see in the morning. We love our babies so much and we want them to be healthy and happy. Thank you.

I'm with you there bud.
