The creepy glowing eyes of pets or other animals is caused by the reflection of light off their tapetum lucidum
I have on occasion, while suffering from insomnia, sit on the porch in the middle of the night and run a hibeam flashlight over the bushes and such down the hill to catch the reflections of an animals eyes.
The funny thing is that they dont seem to react to the beam of light spotting them.
too bad I am not a hunter. critter stew might ease the grocery bills a little ;>
I have never hunted, but would definitely be up to learn how to hunt and butcher. Worthy life skills to me.
