What is time?

in #time7 years ago

Truly time is our most precious resource. It can never be renewed. We are always spending it. What we have to decide is what we spend our time on. You never know when your time will be up, so you must spend it on what is worth it. If you can't look back on the time you have spent and say it was worth it, then you are wasting your most precious resource.

Sort:

Time in money, and not just in a financial sense. Time is what we spend every minute of every day. Time is what we take for granted until it is too late.

To quote a famous brand "Just do it". It's far better to regret what you did do, that what you didn't do.

Without time, everything else is meaningless.

How true! It's so easy to focus on finite things and forget this most precious and irreplaceable resource---time. Making the most of it will of course mean different things to different people, but as the old saying goes, 'no one ever says he wished he'd spent more time at the office on his deathbed'. Interviews with the very-elderly also indicate that it's not necessarily the mistakes made that people regret, but rather the opportunities/chances they didn't embrace.

While your post was the size of a snack in terms of words, it is a feast in terms of the thoughts it generates.

Also, I see you are new so welcome to Steemit!

By they way, I've Resteemed your post as I'm sure it will generate interesting good discussions.

Thank you for the welcome. Time is definitely the easiest think to waste. Hoping to inspire people to think a little harder about it. Thanks for the resteam aswell.
