Today I said goodbye to my friend Pilar and her boyfriend Phillip. They live in Berlin and came home for three weeks for her to visit family and friends. Pilar is the one who brought my new camera from Germany :D

So... her boyfriend Phillip is a hell of an artist. He is a pro at what he does. You can find his Instagram Here

He has traveled to many places to paint, and he also sells his paintings in a book Here

He is well respected in the Graffiti Scene, not only around Berlin, but worldwide.

In the time they spent here in Uruguay this time (around 20 days) he got to paint in a few spots. Cool stuff. His style is quite unique and with lots of attention to details.

What makes him really unique is his technique and speed. He is most of the time the first one to finish in every graffiti competition he competes in.

The time lapse you will see took him around 2 hours to do. So about 120 minutes into a 55 seconds video. Speedy as!

This video was recorded by my friend Matías with a GoPro and I did the edition.

Phillip and Pilar ❤

This second timelapse is from last Saturday night when there were Chinese New Year celebrations here in Punta del Este. I left the camera recording in a good spot with a nice view and then turned the 14 minutes of footage into 18 seconds of speedy action.

The city in the background, Punta del Este, gets packed with tourists during the summer months and empty and desolated during winter. Quite a contrast to be honest.

At the beginning of the video you can see the classic paper Dragon from Chinese New Year Celebrations going around.

As I always say... Thanks for reading and for your support!

It took him only 2 hours to complete this art. I think he's an amazing artist and he should continue his work. Nice pictures though.

every thing am seeing in this post looks great, thanks for that nice work

Wow! That art work is insane. I really like his style and it's impressive how fast he can work!

Those canvases are really sick man. Your friend Phillip is really good and to do that in 2 hours takes talent. The video editing and audio is nice as well.

you found an amazing artist right :)

You've captured some tasty pieces of graffiti here, your friend has got the skills to pay the bills. It would be great to see you enter my latest photography competition:

Whoa... spray painting requires a lot of control and such. I've only used brushes to do murals. Can't stand the smell of spray paints... :(
