Well, today I want share you how to make tape :
Sticky tape is one of the many market hawker food preferred by everyone. Sticky tape has a distinctive flavor that is sweet and sour of the glutinous making sticky tape is very unique. These foods include favorite foods in a family usually served while watching tv or relaxing get-togethers with the family. However, sticky tape also served when holding certain events, such as the arisan, celebration and others. Sticky tape is a traditional food of native Indonesia and food is already available over the counter. Below is how to make a sticky tape at home alone so we don't have to buy the market or outside the home.
Materials
- 1 litre of white glutinous rice of good quality
- 2 grain yeast tepe (mashed)
- granulated sugar to taste
- banana leaves for wrapping to taste
- toothpicks for plaiting one to taste
Steps to make a tape
- wash the rice with water until it is completely clean (done three times until the water-washing the laundry looks clear)
- after being washed clean, glutinous rice is soaked in water for 8 hours
- rinse again glutinous rice soaked in water until clean, drain
- steamed sticky rice until half-cooked and lift and enter kelan basin
- pour 400 ml of hot water into the rice, stirring until the water is percolating
- steamed again for 30 minutes or until done
- lift the plastic tray and pour above, let stand until cold
- once cool sprinkle with yeast that's been crushed and granulated sugar until evenly
- take every 3 tablespoons regulations at and then wrap with banana leaf and to skewer with a toothpick (do until)
- glutinous wrapped enter into the bowl and let stand for 3 days for the fermentation process
- tape a sweet sticky rice is ready to be enjoyed
