For all my followers, I apologize for not showing up during the last 3 months, I have been busy with my studies and researches in finance domain. So, this time I came with a humble writing about happiness and joy (the secrets and intensity in both). I hope this article would be beneficial for all of us.. and enjoy it...
We all know what happiness and joy mean and what they feel like. Indeed, these are feelings that are available to anyone and we can all feel them at a certain moment. Nevertheless, there is a difference between joy and happiness. One can easily feel joy in life during a particular time and what differentiate this from other feelings and concepts is the deepness and the amount of time. Sometimes, we smile and express our good feelings through the face, it could be thanks to a good thing that happened to us at a certain moment and we wish that we could have such feelings repetitively during our life line, because we know that after having such a good time enjoying the moment of joy , we might confront some obstacles in the future that comes in the way of reaching our beloved feeling of happiness. So, the question here is about durability and not about the amount of joy that we received at some particular moment. This was an introduction to the topic that we are about to discuss and analyse which is the difference between the feeling of joy and happiness. The first thing to know about happiness is that you can not tell someone is happy in his life unless they got the same good feeling of ease and happiness for a long and durable period. It is because we feel that way thanks to some parameters that we work on in order to feel it. These parameters must be treated cautiously so that we can make it easier for us to follow them in the process of achieving happiness, and which are :I. THANKING GOD :
It is absolutely impossible to move forward in your life with success and satisfaction without admitting the good things that you have access to in your life thanks to God. Because no matter how unsatisfied a person can be, she is enjoying many good things in life without being aware of it, and this is due to the habit of getting used to one thing and not feeling good toward it anymore like before. Let's take a simple example that may seem too normal, yet we have to see it from a different perspective: If somebody gave you a car as a gift, you would absolutely feel happy about it. But when times go by, you start getting used to it and feel no longer the same pleasure as before.
So, the point here is that sometimes we have to look deep in what we have and enjoy in our life, this will remind us of the good things and makes us thankful to the one who gave us access to many good things in life.
II. MOVING FORWARD WITH NO REGRET :
If we look deep into our actions and decisions in life, we would always remark something for sure which may look odd but still is true. Indeed, there would always be a reason behind our acts and no matter how much times we return to the past and live in the same circumstances and under the same conditions we would never react differently. This could lead us to a conclusion that we do not have to regret what we have done but to understand it and try to be more careful in the future regarding our decision making or the way we behave toward others or even the way we interpret a situation not to screw it up in the future.
III. PREPARING OURSELVES FOR THE UNCERTAIN :
Here is a tip for anyone who wants to know happiness and have the pleasure to feel it for a long time: Whenever you Have a good feeling about something or show some signs of joy and excitement, enjoy it while preparing yourself for what comes next, because it is hard to maintain the same rhythm of excitement. So you have to think about the coming events and try to feel happy about them as well. This way, we would no longer look surprised or get annoyed with the future since we have been mentally preparing ourselves for the coming critical situations that we might face in the future.
IV. CREATING OUR OWN HAPPINESS :
As we all know, happiness is relative and can differ from a person to another. That is to say, one's sadness might represent happiness for another. So, each one can make himself very satisfied with his actual state, or want to make things different so he could enjoy his life in a different way. Therefore, we have the key to happiness in our hands we just have to use it and manipulate our lives the way we want and not letting anyone interfere with our plans for achieving our beloved happiness, because we know that we do not have to be dependent to anyone during the process of making our life better or seeking for the ultimate happiness.
