Hair dyeing with natural dyes will require more effort than using regular hair dyes. However, natural dyes will last longer on hair than chemicals so you can get the colour to your liking. Chinese teak, henna, and indigo are herbs that can be used to cover grey hairs. The hair dye is red, brown and copper, and a golden tinge. If you do not like such bright colours, mix the henna with other herbs like indigo that will make the colour darker. Addition indigo will produce a darker colour ranging from light brown to black. Cover the grey with black colour takes the longest time because you have to apply the first henna and then apply the indigo paste. Hair colouring with pure herbal ingredients is non-toxic and does not cause damage as it is caused by hard chemical hues. You can use rinse dyes, such as coffee, tea, lemon, or potato skins, to blacken, disguise or colour the grey hairs.
