The big question is like you say: what difference does it make for the listener that it is decentralized? The UIX sucks, it's slow as hell and no playlists on a music service? What am I supposed to be listening to?
First they need to hire a better front-ender and get rid of whoever has done this - it's horrible! And then what they need to implement is simple: the only way for them to bring in new listeners is to pay them. Think about it as soundcloud, but where you get paid for every time your playlist or repost is played - it earns you a small share of the profits. That will drive adoption for music bloggers, online media and so on - every time they embed a track on their site they would earn a cut.
Without this feature I'm convinced that Musicoin is doomed.
Yeah you're absolutely right about the UIX. I'm getting used to it now but most people will leave the site as soon as they see the real home page.
The idea of being paid as a curator is interesting. It's kinda like what Steem makes possible with SMTs. I like the concept but it would take a lot of work to figure out the appropriate system for that within musicoin.
