I bought a lot of stuff with DEC the very first 2 days- like everything, LOL! Then after that on the 3rd day I just started hodling it! I can make like 5K- 10 K a day playing on clove71 and sheplaysmonsters and the rest I burned a lot- a lot-- of cards and did buy some as well! :-)
I've been playing SM since it first started and the past year have been awesome! Seeing how the game evolve from being simple to something so epic now I feel proud to be part of the journey with everyone here.
The most memorable thing on Steem Monsters will have to be holding manual tournaments for Steem Monsters prior to the automated tornaments currently available on the website. As we need to have different tournaments in different timezones, Wilhb81 and myself would be hosting the timing for the Asia and Australian players so they can get some tournament fun. During these touranments, I have met so many of you on the discord and telegram group it just feels like we all know each other now.
I love the game and can't wait to see what else is going to be the next big thing for Steem Monsters.

This current season is going to suck though- well it already is going bad for me because I am experiencing with the new dragon cards and the new orb cards- and I keep loosing! grr! Also- the season ends on hubby's birthday! Which sucks for me, because I made plans to take him to San Francisco for the weekend, as Father's Day is the next day. So big weekend with a Giant's game and all. Buttttt....... that also means I will not be in the top 10 or even 20 this season unless luck is on my side. I have to say I went pretty crazy buying packs and the last deal they just had was mind blowing! I hope you where able to grab one up while you had the chance.

Hello everyone, I am a candidate for masters degree here at Mexico, I just saw clove71's video about steemmonsters and I am starting today to play. As background I played pokemon TCG when I was younger and I know that it is a completely different game but I think that I can learn fast.

Hello @raynie. Yes, this game is so much better, in pokemon TCG every year or two years they erase part of the card and make you start again. That is a lot of money in the end.
I am still not able to use my normal account, does anyone knows if this system works in Linux? I am not able to sign in any of the paths (steem keychain, steem connector, etc).

I’ve never been much of a gamer or collector, but Splinterlands has me hooked, especially after the introduction of DEC.
I haven’t been on many Discord communities before, but the Splinterlands community has been one of the more generous ones I’ve witnessed, and it’s been a pleasure being part of this thriving community.

I have been getting back into Steem Monsters and I need to work on continuing my collection as I once had higher level cards (some around 7) when I played much more.
Good to be a part of the Splinterlands and the wonderful community and I look forward to coming on here some more!
Staked myself 500 SPT and think it is an amazing initiative along with how well Steem Monsters has gone to become as big as it has.
Been on Steemit for close to 2 years now and have had my ups and downs, absense and presence, but with the rise and growth coming along, I need to get back into everything more to grow with you all.

Howdy folks, most of you already know me or have at least battled me in Steem-Monsters/Splinterlands. Some of you may have even played in one of the many fun little contest I run on Steemit (https://steemit.com/@rentmoney) from time to time. I like forums over most other social media outlets so I will likely become fairly active here.
I like most others have caught the Splinterland bug and with the introduction of DEC that has only intensified. Joining this forum was an easy decision for me and I can already tell the forum will be a popular and fun addition to already awesome game that is Splinterlands.

I'm Kevin, From Melbourne, Australia. You've probably seen me rummaging around DTube and Splinterlands. With the introduction of Dark Energy Crystals it's given a reason to play more (I was constantly stuck in Diamond/champion) and I don't have a maxxed out deck so it was difficult finding the motivation to do the daily quests. How great is DEC though. It's actually my favourite crypto at the moment.
I investing in a lot of dragon type cards and excited to see it get some love. Nice to meet everyone! I was told about this link by @flauwy .

make me join steemmonster and sin that day i spend alot of my cryto on this game. i beliv this is a good invest in the long run.
Some ppl think iam vndragon but yes some time iam vndragon, but i only doing it for try helping my wift brother who liv in vietnam, normal he work hard to earn 10 usd a day to feed hes famile to liv, but thanks to SM/SL he can play and earn like 5usd a day. i kep helping him with my spear card and playing turnmen for him when he sleep.

It's already 6:17 AM here in the Philippines at the time of writing this post and yet I'm still wide awake. The last season went well and I've been playing for little over 21 days now and so far so good. I've been playing League of Legends and is spending to purchase skins and other stuff there but when I crosses path with Splinterlands, everything changed. I haven't log in to my LOL account for that same amount period of time and is very much busy learning this game. I love it. More power guys and see you in ranked games.

Hi Everyone! I firt joined Steem in May 2016 and have been along for the ride since then. In summer of last year, I launch a very basic version of TokenBB with a friend and since then BuildTeam has taken the helm of this project.
It's a very special feeling to see you all using it and to lock arm with the other big projects on the Steem blockchain (namely SM, Steem-Engine, Palnet and others)

I live in Portugal, 30 years old and a steemian for almost 2 years.I call myself Martusamamak and I have been a player of #SteemMonsters for a few weeks!
This is actually my first post here. Thought it was the best place to start with.
Since I am not, nor have ever been, good at this card games, although I really enjoy playing them, I am hoping to find new hints and strategies here on the forum. And hope to get to know better players!
I'm sure there are plenty here that give some great tips for play. I generally tell new players mele in the front / ranged in the back and magic can go anywhere as starter advice. Including a card that regenerates / replenishes health is always a nice option to have as well.

I've been on the steem platform since early 2018, January.
I started playing the game @steemmonters a few months ago and I'm really enjoying it. I started playing with the help of @clove71, who gave me the starter pack. Besides, she gave me some cards for me to play and luckily I was able to grow in the game through that. I am very grateful to her !!!! Whenever I can, I buy booster packs and the gold and legendary potions for me to grow in the game. The most I could achieve in season was gold1.
It is the game that I am investing most in the platform, however, also play @drugwars and I will start playing @roadofrich, which seems to be very interesting !!!
Also, I like to frequently post texts about subjects I study and videos on @dtube.

Been a part of the steem and steem monsters ecosystem for a some time now and to be honest it has been the most interesting and thrilling experience.
If you asked me what my favorite blockchain game is,the answer would definitely be SteemMonsters. And by the way, I'm the most fierce and feared steem monster player. Think I'm joking? Challenge me to a battle when you get time and lets see what happens ;)
Either way I much more excited to be here and to see how steem monsters and steem ecosystem keeps growing each day.

Just decided to check out SplinterLands web adress today and after seeing the topics, I just decided to drop an Intro post. I've been on steemit for a while but I'm yet to give steem monsters a try.
With the current price of steem, I see it as expensive buying a starter pack with 40 steem. It takes me awhile to get 40 steem so I hope you can understand. If there's anyone out there who wants to sponsor my starter pack, or has a gift code, I will appreciate.
Until then, I will have to wait for steem rices to go way up so I don't spen that much steem.

Hi all, I'm Jimmy from Australia. I've been on Steem for almost three years now, and I’ve lost track of all the times people have confused me for @berniesanders. :)
I’ve never been much of a gamer or collector, but Splinterlands has me hooked, especially after the introduction of DEC.
I haven’t been on many Discord communities before, but the Splinterlands community has been one of the more generous ones I’ve witnessed, and it’s been a pleasure being part of this thriving community.

My arrival
I have been getting back into Steem Monsters and I need to work on continuing my collection as I once had higher level cards (some around 7) when I played much more.
Good to be a part of the Splinterlands and the wonderful community and I look forward to coming on here some more!
Staked myself 500 SPT and think it is an amazing initiative along with how well Steem Monsters has gone to become as big as it has.
Been on Steemit for close to 2 years now and have had my ups and downs, absense and presence, but with the rise and growth coming along, I need to get back into everything more to grow with you all.

Howdy folks, most of you already know me or have at least battled me in Steem-Monsters/Splinterlands. Some of you may have even played in one of the many fun little contest I run on Steemit (https://steemit.com/@rentmoney) from time to time. I like forums over most other social media outlets so I will likely become fairly active here.
I plan on moving some of those fun little games over to this forum so don't forget to check out the Giveaways category (https://monsters.tokenbb.io/topic-list?category=giveaways) and the Contest category (https://monsters.tokenbb.io/topic-list?category=contests) from time to time.

Photography expert, I wish! More like High Performance Computing Expert lacking a great camera!... But, yes I like taking photos and dumping them around... kindly of checking if anyone is gealous of this (when the weather is good) city/country =)
Still planning my camera (professionall camera) purschase... it has been too long already, but other $$ priorities keep stealing the well curated ranking on the queue of my planned purschases. Maybe Santa will be nice to me this time!

I'm pretty sure I was testing this tokenbb forum out in the early alpha whenw e only had access via a discord link, but didn't realize this went live! It looks great.
I'm Kevin, From Melbourne, Australia. You've probably seen me rummaging around DTube and Splinterlands. With the introduction of Dark Energy Crystals it's given a reason to play more (I was constantly stuck in Diamond/champion) and I don't have a maxxed out deck so it was difficult finding the motivation to do the daily quests. How great is DEC though. It's actually my favourite crypto at the moment.
I investing in a lot of dragon type cards and excited to see it get some love. Nice to meet everyone! I was told about this link by @flauwy .

hi guys as top iam a vietnam dude, but liv in Denmark most of my life, my familie was poor in vietnam so we jump in ship and go to hong kong where i liv there for 9 year then com to Denmark, i have doing cryto (Crytopia) sin 2013 life was good but as all know Crytopia got hack and i lost alot but, life go on. i was looking for game Blockchain game at youtube, and thank to this video
make me join steemmonster and sin that day i spend alot of my cryto on this game. i beliv this is a good invest in the long run.Some ppl think iam vndragon but yes some time iam vndragon, but i only doing it for try helping my wift brother who liv in vietnam, normal he work hard to earn 10 usd a day to feed hes famile to liv, but thanks to SM/SL he can play and earn like 5usd a day. i kep helping him with my spear card and playing turnmen for him when he sleep.

Just wanted to let the prospective players of the game know that you don't have to fear about losing your investments as you only tend to gain from the game. My initials thoughts of the game were, "uh oh, am i ever going to remain in the game". Good day to everyone who's still online playing just like me and to everyone who might drop by to this post. It's already 6:17 AM here in the Philippines at the time of writing this post and yet I'm still wide awake. The last season went well and I've been playing for little over 21 days now and so far so good. I've been playing League of Legends and is spending to purchase skins and other stuff there but when I crosses path with Splinterlands, everything changed. I haven't log in to my LOL account for that same amount period of time and is very much busy learning this game. I love it. More power guys and see you in ranked games.

Hi Everyone! I firt joined Steem in May 2016 and have been along for the ride since then. In summer of last year, I launch a very basic version of TokenBB with a friend and since then BuildTeam has taken the helm of this project.
It's a very special feeling to see you all using it and to lock arm with the other big projects on the Steem blockchain (namely SM, Steem-Engine, Palnet and others)

Hope you are doing great, I wanted to jump on and just introduce myself.
I have been playing steem monsters/ Splinterlands pretty much since it first came out and fell in love with it. At first I honestly did not understand the game lol but spending a night with it its rather easy to learn. Honestly that gives me an idea for my next post! An introduction to understanding the game so if anyone else has a write up such as this that provides insightful information please comment it below so I can check it out.
I have to say I went pretty crazy buying packs and the last deal they just had was mind blowing! I hope you where able to grab one up while you had the chance.

Hi @martusamak welcome to the forum.
I'm sure there are plenty here that give some great tips for play. I generally tell new players mele in the front / ranged in the back and magic can go anywhere as starter advice. Including a card that regenerates / replenishes health is always a nice option to have as well.

Hello people, good morning to all of @steemmonsters and splintertalk.io
I've been on the steem platform since early 2018, January.
I started playing the game @steemmonters a few months ago and I'm really enjoying it. I started playing with the help of @clove71, who gave me the starter pack. Besides, she gave me some cards for me to play and luckily I was able to grow in the game through that. I am very grateful to her !!!! Whenever I can, I buy booster packs and the gold and legendary potions for me to grow in the game. The most I could achieve in season was gold1.
It is the game that I am investing most in the platform, however, also play @drugwars and I will start playing @roadofrich, which seems to be very interesting !!!
Also, I like to frequently post texts about subjects I study and videos on @dtube.

Been a part of the steem and steem monsters ecosystem for a some time now and to be honest it has been the most interesting and thrilling experience.
If you asked me what my favorite blockchain game is,the answer would definitely be SteemMonsters. And by the way, I'm the most fierce and feared steem monster player. Think I'm joking? Challenge me to a battle when you get time and lets see what happens ;)

Topic: New On Splinterlands
Just decided to check out SplinterLands web adress today and after seeing the topics, I just decided to drop an Intro post. I've been on steemit for a while but I'm yet to give steem monsters a try.
With the current price of steem, I see it as expensive buying a starter pack with 40 steem. It takes me awhile to get 40 steem so I hope you can understand. If there's anyone out there who wants to sponsor my starter pack, or has a gift code, I will appreciate.
Until then, I will have to wait for steem rices to go way up so I don't spen that much steem.
