Topic: Welcome to the Flip Side

Basic context is, people were worried about the bad content on Trending getting self-votes and "draining the reward pool."

So, now we have PALnet, and basically the enitre blockchain has been muted. We're in the "We Can Rebuild" phase. Let's make the most of it.

  1. Who is working on the interface?

It's Aggroed's group. The same people who brought us Steem Monsters and Steem Engine.

  1. Does the "team" have enough funds to deal with the big cost that can come their way?

I believe so, if this is any indication: Scotbot Server ordered

Scotbot is the back-end that simulates steemd for rewarding upvotes and such. E.g.:

  1. What is the ultimate goal of PALnet?

I don't know if you saw the "SPORK" idea, but it was basically a spec to "fork out" aloof stakeholders, without touching their original stake. So the ultimate goal is to recreate the original conditions of the Steem platform and then move forward with the community, without the ninja-mining bagage.

Right, but now we have the tools to deal with it.

Ok, tell me what PALnet is all about. I'm a little confused...I feel like I went under a rock and then found out that a whole bunch of things are happening.

  1. Who is working on the interface?
  2. Does the "team" have enough funds to deal with the big cost that can come their way?
  3. What is the ultimate goal of PALnet?

Thanks for the response!
