Reply to Login Cookie Request ("Remember Me")

Would it be possible to add a "Remember Me" checkbox at login which sets a cookie? If I do an F5 BrowserRefresh operation on any page here, I am logged-out, just as if I had exited the site. If I close this tab, or Refresh the page, it would be nice to stay logged-in upon return. Thanks for consideration! 🙂
This already works and also across forums :) the only thing that stops this feature is the brave shield, which basically forgets you every time you hit F5. We have ideas for how to circumvent this, but so far, lowering shields offers a better user experience :)
I am using the OPERA browser, not Brave, but they are built from the same webkit. I will try whitelisting the site in my Ad-Blocker shield and see if it helps. Thanks! 🙌
