I'm still here! I haven't gone anywhere, but having an almost 5 year old and 2 year old pretty much fills up most of my free time. I don't get to go out and wander like I use to, but my kids are amazing and I'm enjoying that part of my life a lot.
I recently got out while my family from The U.S. was visiting and took them to Rikugien Park. (六義園) I think I've mentioned before that I prefer momiji over sakura. I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority, but I like the autumn color change the best and as far as the Tokyo Area goes Rikugien is the best (in my opinion) for seeing it. The mix of different colors and landscapes there is of another world. The park is beautiful year round, but I think it's best during this season.
