today I'm going to be showing you how to make nutritious Tom Brown.cook time 5-7 mins
Tom brown is a very nutrious meal mostly cereal and legumes based,can be consumed by adults and children.It's a very good option if you're considering weaning your baby.
My Recipe/ procedure
2 cups of yellow corn
1 cup of millet
1 n half cup of soya beans
1 cup of groundnut
2fingers of unripe plantain
A handful of crayfish.
How to prep soya beans
I learnt its dangerous to process without soaking ur soy bean,pick dirt,soak overnight,sundry,roast,slightly pound with mortar to remove skin before adding to other items.
Pick dirt n stones from ur cereals,groundnut and crayfish,peel ur plantain chop n wash,wash everything separately and sun dry( u can use oven to dry your plantain and crayfish),fry or roast them separately in a pot until golden brown( don't roast crayfish n plantain)set aside in a tray to cool.put everything together take to the milling machine ( they know what to do).
One thing is for you to make tom brown another is for you to know how to prepare it.
Preparation
Pls note there are several methods.
Dissolve the powder in water( check pictures)
Put it on fire( low heat)
Stir continuously to avoid lumps,until your desired thickness is achieved leaving room for milk.dissolve any age appropriate milk add to it and serve,as an adult u can can sugar or sweetener,enjoy!
