Nainital India is a town in the state of Uttarakhand in India and headquarters of Nainital district. Located in the Kumaon foot hills of the outer Himalayas, it is situated at an altitude of 1,900 meters above the sea level. Nainital is set in a valley and is surrounded by mountains like Naina on the north, Deopatha on the west, and Ayarpatha on the south.
Nainital Temperature during summers can reach to a maximum of 27 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius. During this time, visitors flock the city in abundance and some times there even is not a single place to stay in the town! It is also a famous hang out and a popular hill station for the people living in the plains of Northern India.

The church of St. John established in 1844 attracts large number of visitors and is located on the north end of town. The Governor’s House now known as the Raj Bhavan was built in 1899 and designed in Victorian Gothic style as the summer residence of the governor of the North West Province is now the official guest house for the governor of Uttarakhand and other state guests.
Snow View offers amazing views of the snowbound Himalaya, including Nanda Devi, and Nanda Kot on a clear day. The best time for viewing the mountains is October and November. Nainital Tour is not complete with out visiting the Naina Peak which is the highest peak in the town and at a walking distance of 5 km from north Nainital. From the peak, one can see the snow clad Himalayas and also get a wonderful view of Nainital town. For those who can not hike, there are the ponies that can be hired in Mallital or from Snow View. Tiffin Top is a terraced hill top on Ayarpatta hill is a 4 km hike from the town center and gives a pleasant view of the neighboring country side in Nainital Tourism. Mukteshwar is a picturesque town located around 50 km from Nainital Tour. One can also visit Bhimtal Lake, Naini Lake, Sattal Lake, Nal-Damyanti Lake, Khurpa Tal, Naukuchia Tal et al while on a Nainital Tour or while on a Travel to Nainital.
