Akwa ibom state to start with is one of the fastest developing state here in Nigeria , a place to behold ,a home of good food , a place of divers cultures and diverse language.
But my trip or should I say tour around the state was brief so I didn't visit lot of places I should have..
Talking about culture I really enjoyed the EKPE (Lion) where the people strictly Men that are initiated into the EKPE will dress on costumes that makes them look like a lion, then a special kind of song will be played and this Men will begin to display a kind of strange dance yet very stylish. Then the tour continues, we visited one of the finest hostels in the state IBOM le meridian hotels and golf resort.. So we play golf here too
Lemme whisper the truth ,you must be very rich to be able to get a room here because of her luxury. Well I promised to keep it shot and brief here is the picture of the hotel below 
The visit then took us down to the best Cinema in this part of the country.. The ibom Tropicana
Here you get to watch all the latest release of Nollywood , Hollywood , Bollywood and all the woods you could think of lol Here is the picture below 
My conscience won't let me rest if I fail to mention the Olympic Size stadium located here in the heart of the State.. Basically all the world cups and friendly games in the country is brought here ..the stadium of course is located in a serene environment not where we have vehicle noise disturbing our hearing thus making us not to relish our games.

Lastly AKWA Ibom state is not only a place to flex and enjoy all day. It's also a center of quality education. We have state of the art E-library which is open for internal and external use.. The library is the best in West Africa fill with both native and foreign books /journal.. the fun part is it's users are not paying a single penny to use this facility. The picture is below
