Context
The focus of this Town Hall is to open up the conversation about the topics at hand, and to push the growth of the community side of the blockchain, while striving to reach to agreements and create synergies. We want to keep the community updated on everything happening on-chain, connect with founders and stakeholders at a deeper level, and ultimately generate a sense of belonging and a feeling of true community.
And mainly, grow and strengthen Hive's user base.
The Town Halls are open to every Hiver. You can participate either by requesting to speak in the X space and ask questions or contribute to the conversation, or by engaging in the Threadcast.
Why X?
The reason we do these Town Halls on X spaces is because we are also striving to reach other crypto users and put the name of the Hive Blockchain out there, and the best way to do it is through X.
The X algorithm promotes spaces with reminders and comments under the post, so...

I get the idea about having this on X but having the reward pool being discussed like this could do more harm than good chasing people away. This in my view is a negative that should be kept in house and discussed as a community because this could do serious damage long term.
how could talking about the reward pool in public do harm? transparency is great.
Yes and no on this topic for anyone thinking of joining Hive because without a reward pool there will be no drawcard for them. The secondary tokens are not the same as Hive and I think discussing this in the open on X could be very damaging. This should be on discord as a community.
Imho so few people know about hive, that any kind of visibility and reach we can give Hive is positive fren

I plan to be in attendance -- a bit more than 24 hours notice would be ideal so we can get the word out to others. Hive is a big multi-lingual town...

Thank you. You might also consider at least hosting a town hall in Spanish, Hive's second-largest language ... I always am so impressed with what @hivesucre and @lacasitahive are doing, and they and other communities need to be able to have input, given that they are onboarding businesses ...
