Hello All! Today, I want to talk about our Key West Trip to Florida. Key West is the last island located in the chain of Florida Keys islands. The trip to this island, which is the most southern point of the USA, is truly unique if you are driving there. You go most of the way by crossing the bridges that connect the small islands lying along the ocean.

It takes about three and half hours to drive there from Miami. Since this was a chance for us for a quick getaway from my husband's conference, it was a daily short trip for us.

Since the island is small enough to visit on foot, we parked our car and started exploring around on foot. The first thing to do was look for food places or restaurants since we were starving. With the help of Google reviews, we chose Cuban Restaurant called El Meson De Pepe's in Mallory Square, whose photos looked perfect. The food was delicious, the service was excellent.
Yemegimizi yedikten sonra adada tur atmaya basladik. Heryerden gelen canli muzikler insanin enerjisini inanilmaz yukseltiyor, ozellikle cuba muzikleri cok keyifli. After we had our dinner, we started touring the island. Live music is coming from everywhere, and it raises people's energy unbelievably. Especially Cuban music is delightful. Cuban effects are very dominant throughout the island. Restaurants, cafes, music styles, Cuban cigars sold per step make you feel this a lot.

While walking, we came across the Key West Shipwreck Museum. This museum was converted from a 19th-century warehouse to tell the story of the 400-year-old shipwreck rescued in the Florida Keys. Admission is $17 for adults, $10 for children.

The most central places on the island are Mallory Square and Duval Street. Mallory Square is closer to the sea, Duval Street is the street where you can find all the shops, bars, and cafes.

Duval Street is vibrant during the day and night. You have the chance to find everything you might need for a summer vacation in the shops where mostly souvenirs are in abundance. Of course, the prices are slightly higher since it is primarily a tourist place.

One of the things that caught my attention on the island was that I felt like I was in a vast botanical garden while walking on the streets. If you ask why I've seen more different types of trees on the streets of Key West than I've ever seen before in my life :)!
Ilerledikce, Key West denilince akillara ilk gelen ve ikonik bir yapi olan SouthernMost Point Buoy a geldik. Burasinin Amerikanin en guney ucu oldugu ve 90 mil otesinin Kuba sinirlari oldugu bilgiler arasinda. Oldukca turistik bir fotograf noktasi oldugundan sabah erken saatte gitmenizi tavsiye ederim.
As we kept walking, we reached SouthernMost Point Buoy, an iconic piece that first comes to mind when Key West is mentioned. It is the southernmost tip of America and just 90 miles away from Cuba. Since it is a very touristic photo spot, I suggest you go there early in the morning.
