That is right, brother. What Christ did on the Cross of Calvary was to pay the price, so that today we live quietly and peacefully. He overcame why he says the word in Col 2:14 having canceled the debt document that consisted of decrees against us and that was adverse to us, and has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross.
Col 2:15 And having stripped (having disposed of) the powers and authorities, he made them a public spectacle, triumphing over them through Him.
