According to my experience every time there's a dip, there's the usual "coins on discount"/"buying opportunity"/"fill them bags" - but the reality over the last year that it has simply then gone lower, so if you did take advantage of that "opportunity", you're now locked in at a price which may not be seen again for many months.
The only way to gain from it in the short/medium term is to hope for a small bounce (for which you need to be watching the market 24/7 so you don't miss it), then get out with a modest profit.
