In today's technical analysis we will focus on Bitcoin and Waves. Trading is about preparedness and various possibilities of market price development, and so do we.
Technical analysis: Bitcoin
The price of Bitcoin has been rising since the beginning of the new year. At the moment, BTC created a corrective structure above the 9000 level and starts on Wednesday February 5 with a strong green candle. This might well be the start of another bigger move that takes the price closer to the $ 10,000 threshold and I bet on that move myself. But first we have to handle the $ 9600 level, which is the last swing high to which the market has responded in the past.
Trading is all about readiness for different market price developments. The position in the first picture (SL 8845, input 9385, TP 9998) is definitely aggressive and will need to be monitored. If there are strong volumes at 9600, you will need to cancel it. The same is true for a low of the current candle at 9160. However, if the position lasts, it is likely to be driven near the 10,000-by large FOMO and offer better appreciation than 1: 1.
After reaching it, however, I will wait for retest 200 MA (black in the second picture), which will be at the level of annual VWAP (orange). VWAP = volume-weighted average price.
A more conservative approach would be to wait for this upward movement to end, which, given the strength of levels above the current price level, is unlikely to be long and levels will not be sustained permanently. If my idea is correct, the 200 MA retest will then be at the VWAP level. If movement to this level is corrective and a reversible candle formation is created, it will be a suitable entry position. Again, beware of the reactions at the above levels of 9600 and 10000.
Technical analysis: Waves
For Waves, I expect a slight correction. Waves has shown a strong impulsive movement to low volume area (LVA) at 200 MA in recent days. It seems to respond to this level, so I want it to return to at least half the space under the middle LVA he has just bounced off (value 0.0001). If the red candles are not accompanied by a large volume or a reversible formation is formed, this will be the appropriate entry level (SL - 0.0000898, TP - anywhere above the LVA but still below the highest placed LVA). This setup is valid until mid-February. If it did not reach the required level sooner, I would not trade it this way.
If it does not reach this level by mid-February, but stays between the half way and the middle of the LVA for a longer period of time, the long position can be opened with a tighter stoploss and profit far above the LVA. This setup is valid until the end of February. However, the correction must not turn into a long-term consolidation, so I want to see activation by the end of February.
Technická analýza BTC/USD
Bitcoin od začátku nového roku roste. Momentálně vytvořil korektivní strukturu nad levelem 9000 a středu 5. února začíná silnou zelenou svící. Tohle by klidně mohl být začátek dalšího většího pohybu, který vezme cenu blíže k hranici 10000 USD a na tento pohyb sám sázím. Nejprve ale musíme zvládnout úroveň 9600 USD, na které je poslední swingové high, na který trh v minulosti reagoval.
Trading je o připravenosti na různé možnosti vývoje tržní ceny. Pozice na prvním obrázku (SL 8845, vstup 9385, TP 9998) je rozhodně agresivní a bude třeba ji sledovat. Pokud se objeví na úrovni 9600 silné objemy, bude třeba ji zrušit. Totéž platí i v případě průrazu low současné svíčky na 9160. Pokud však pozice vydrží, nejspíše se do ní nažene v blízkosti úrovně 10 000 velké FOMO a nabídne lepší zhodnocení než 1:1 Po jejím dosažení ale budu čekat retest 200 MA (černě na druhém obrázku), které bude na úrovní ročního VWAPu (oranžově). VWAP = volume-weighted average price.
Konzervativnější přístup by byl počkat si na skončení tohoto pohybu nahoru, který vzhledem k síle levelům nad současnou úrovní ceny pravděpodobně nebude dlouhý a levely nebudou udrženy trvale. Pokud je moje myšlenka správná, dojde následně k retestu 200 MA, které bude současně na úrovni VWAP. Když pohyb k této úrovni bude korektivní a vytvoří se obratová svíčková formace, bude to vhodná pozice na vstup. Opět ale pozor na reakce u zmíněných levelů 9600 a 10000.
Technická analýza WAVES/BTC
U Waves počítám s mírnou korekcí. Předvedl v uplynulých dnech silný impulsivní pohyb k LVA (low volume area) na úrovni 200 MA. Vypadá, že na tuto úroveň bude reagovat, budu po něm tedy chtít návrat minimálně do poloviny prostoru pod prostřední LVA, od které se právě odrazil (hodnota 0.0001). Pokud červené svíčky nebudou provázené velkým objemem nebo se vytvoří obratová formace, bude to vhodná úroveň pro vstup (SL - 0.0000898, TP – kdekoliv nad zmiňovanou LVA, stále však pod nejvýše umístěnou LVA). Tento setup platí do poloviny února, pokud se na požadovanou úroveň nedostane dříve, už bych ho tímto způsobem nenabíral.
Pokud se do poloviny února na tuto úroveň nedostane, ale bude se delší dobu mezi polovinou a prostřední LVA zdržovat, lze otevřít longovou pozici i takto s užším stoplossem a profitem daleko nad LVA. Tento setup je platný do konce února, pokud se v rámci korekce vytvoří například double bottom, bude to příležitost. Korekce se ale nesmí přeměnit v dlouhodobou konsolidaci, proto chci vidět aktivaci do konce února.
