Good morning traders! Looking forward to this trading day.
Overnight big news were the NZ jobs figures, which showed a weaker number in the headline, whereas the unemployment number dropped. Not gonna deep digger into this, other than that kiwi is on the lows, but won't collapse further unless the US $ shows it's teeth.
Coming up today in the heavy-hitting events section are
- ADP employment report (oh boy oh boy)
- crude oil inventories
- Aussie trade balance later during the night

WTI oil finally crapped the pants. Areas of interest marked on chart. Careful, today we get inventories data
USDCAD H4 - yaaasss, squeeze you bastard. Upper areas of interest marked on chart. Lower areas, well, maybe around 0, no?
DAX closed the gap and ripped! Well, my Tradingview shows the gap was not closed by 0.8 pts, but tomato-tomato. Testing first approximate resistance area around here.
EURJPY a notable development, finally! Now all about followthrough.
EURAUD we also got the breakout - retest and go. Did not rip as much as i wanted but was good for 50-80 pips nonetheless
Bitcoin - ugh, don't get me started. Nothing to report. Follows a very rugged daily template. Range!

I'm just waiting for Bitcoin to pass $3000. Once that happens, I think momentum is going to start picking up again.

Regarding the Bitcoin chart, I think something we have to keep in mind (as @jeffberwick just mentioned in a recent interview), is that Bitcoin, IF you take into account the price of Bitcoin Cash TOGETHER with the original Bitcoin, is actually trading at a new, all-time high.
At the time I'm writing this, Bitcoin is at $2700, and Bitcoin Cash is $448... so that's a roughly $3,150 total value for most holders :D
Good point, but thats a one-time thing as this wont be happening often, so everybody still has to plan trades one instrument at a time
True, but at this point at least all of us pre-Bitcoin fork holders have a nice, net gain in the meantime!
