Too many people are money-minded, expecting to gain huge profits here. First off, most of them are not posting original, helpful, or interesting content.

Secondly, I feel that this platform is about getting information in front of people who are specifically interested in certain subjects - much more so than about making tons of money. Quality content rules.

With that said, the people who enter steemit and bring a huge following are going to make nice returns, and I feel that people see that and assume they can do the same. This is a good thing in a way, because once people realize there's no money to be made from crap content, the crap content will begin to decrease.

I'm in total agreement.. It's very unrealistic to think posting will provide you quick an easy money.. It's still very much a popularity contest, and I know I'm not very popular yet. But if you managed to make a name for yourself somewhere else than you really have a great head start here.

Oh, absolutely.. and with good content, it's totally possible to grow and end up making a shitload of money down the road - no doubt about it.. Best of luck to you, man.

I know im off as a mini whale paying lots of money i have earned here creating things to empower all of us.

Trust me this isnt going to get you rich overnight and its worth it to stick it out and support it because it truly is censorship resistant and only in beta with a community actively looking for solutions to helping others. We need tools to help whales and minnows alike, but most of those of us working on these things still need help...and patience.

Dont worry. This community is maturing which means new things will become available to help all of us choose what we believe in and change the

Thank you for your vote and comment. I agree that steemit is continually getting better and I hope that new users don't set there reward expectations too high. Personally I work very hard on posting quality content, and helping others. I'm glad you had some success and thank you for the encouragement. Some of the posts that I put the most time into get no attention at all, but I try not to let that bother me, because like you said we need to stick it out and have patience.

Well I hope your opening line "Firstly, I believe steemit had huge future potential." can be transformed back into has. In short few weeks there have been many people adding value to Steem and there is more coming like Steemy the Android/iOS app https://steemit.com/steemit/@steemapp/introducing-steemy-fully-native-ios-android-apps-for-steem. It's only just begun!

Oooh nice catch .. I totally missed the had has error.. whew.. thanks a bunch.. and yes a mobile app will send this coin soaring.

I know the feeling of putting a lot of effort into your content and not getting noticed. What do you think would be a solution to fix that though if it's not based on Steem Power holdings?

Thanks for the video, I am very interested in that app/charting software you were using. You mentioned Market Watch, I don't know if its the same software you were using toward the beginning of your video? I cant seem to find it anywhere for download. Where can I download it?

Think of upvoting as "insider trading"

You post because you enjoy doing it, and hope that you can help more people understand crypto trading. You also know that one day steemit going to blow up and hope to be in the right place at the right time. Keep up the good work, you will get noticed soon.

@craig-grant @crypt0 I'm not sure if you will get some kind of notice.... But let me introduce you to @quickfingersluc53

thanks for all your help promoting me.. your very kind... I have to run to catch some actual minnows at the creek to feed my wife's fish... but I'll be back in a bit and respond some more to comments.. your a good guy @bdavid

Maybe your next video use tag craigrant. It's a small group of people that always upvote content. Worth a shot.

i want to be noticed too : O

Get in contact with me over on Steemit.chat

I can tell by the way that you approach the markets that you know what you're talking about, I want trading to get much bigger. So pop on by for a quick chat.

:)

sure.. sounds good.. I'll stop in tomorrow during work hours..

I like what you're doing. I'm surprised you don't use SMA,Slow-Stoch and MACD indicators in the charts. I myself had a great trade on July 19 got in on the very bottom and sold on top. I can read charts but I do not follow well on my selling even though I know when to except in this case. Steem seams to be building a good base on the 90 day SMA. I would also say a break out any time now.

You might like to load up on some Gold and or Silver if you have some left over cash. Our Fiance System seems to be on the very edge. I also like “Silver Wheaton” for a long term back up. Had a nice run this year already.

Honestly, don't worry about whales. If you have liquid Steem (tradeable) or SteemDollars, worry about value. We need to increase the demand of Steem so that everyone can feel rewarded when it skyrockets!

Luc, I agree, as I hope this post illustrates. https://steemit.com/success/@plotbot2015/every-post-is-practice
I also like the way you're "starring" in your own thumbnail photos.
