Selling your strategic gold and silver bars is obviously just the opposite process of having originally bought the gold and silver. i.e. You DO have a disposal plan, right?
In other words always think of HOW you're going to SELL, even before you BUY!
- You could redeem or sell back to the bullion mint (eg. #perthmint) you bought the bars from.
- A private sale say, back to the original private seller at spot price (you do keep a list of fellow stackers in your city?).
- Sell on #eBay with really good #photography. Crazy prices sometimes either way, but expect to loose a large percentage in fees. Beware of missing shipments (I never ship overseas).
- Sell on a precious metal forum such as Kitco or Silverstackers.com by registering as a guest member and joining the discussion.
- The most simple method to dispose (quickly anytime) is really your local pawnbroker (and you do #travel to where they are?).
- Most important! Watch out for fakes (both bars and coin) currently on the market. Watch out for switches and buyer beware! If its very cheap (well below spot price), its probably a fake. Check weights, size and best with an XRF machine.
Only trusted parties will advance #money or payment for gold and silver sight unseen. Always think of HOW and WHO you're going to sell your strategic gold and silver, BEFORE you buy! What do you think?
