Enough is enough...

Decision made and executed, I have sold half of my NVIDIA position today, taking advantage of the "dead cat bounce"...

I have been thinking about it for a while, NVIDIA has brought me a lot of joy in the last year and a half but I understand that the bubble has to burst and, although it may not seem like it, the emergence of DeepSeek opens up many doubts regarding the use of resources to feed this AI technology. Also, trading at a P/E ratio of 50 is already a savagery!.

I still have a good stake, perhaps I will sell it as everything develops but I do not want it to happen like the "Blockchain" phenomenon in 2017... back then, the future had to be directed in a decentralized way by the blockchain... after 8 years, apart from BITCOIN and HIVE, the use that has been given to this technology has been very limited IMO.
AI has a lot to prove as a usable technology yet, it's really in its infancy and relying on a small group of processor manufacturers doesn't seem like the most logical thing to do in the long term...
I'd rather invest the profits in something more secure, especially if they give me dividends...that said, it's up to me to decide where I put this money...I'll probably buy more MONDELEZ stock...what a change, isn't it?

Switching a part of NVDA into MDLZ is a good anticyclical move imo. 👍🏻

Agree, unless the chocolate price keeps rising 😂

Well, good thing they have cream cheese and cookies too. 😉

Did it pump right after the annuncements of AI and robots from nvidia chief? They sounded quite irrealistic to me, so yea sold might be good now

Whenever there is a good profit, it is important to get it, so the way the news has changed in two days and things have changed a lot, here if we talk about Bitcoin, the profit is more than overnight. Special and may appear to increase in price.

I think it's fine to move away if you don't feel as confident in NVIDIA now that cheaper options exist. I still think top tier hardware has its uses and it will still give an advantage, but we know that we don't need top tier to run AI effectively anymore.

NVIDIA's price drop is disappointing, better luck next time
