Dean henderson has signed a new three-years deal at manchester united, with the option for a further year.
The goalkeeper has penned fresh terms at old Trafford after a stellar couple of year out on loan that has see him graduate to the england under-21 set-up.
Henderson will now return to sheffield united on loan for the 2019/20 campaign for his first taste of premier league football, having been a key man of the blades last season as chris wilder's side won promotion .
The 22-years olds has been in united's academy for eight years and has backed himself to become the club's no. 1 at some stage. But with david de Gea set to sign a new long-term deal of his own a return to bramall lane will give the cumbrian another chance to impress in first term football.
The club has amazing in designing an individual pathway to aid my development which will enable me to reach my potential and perform at the highest level possible," henderson said.
