Hi everyone,
These parts of articles are going to cover multiple layers of the coming transhumanist or hybrid-human age.
What is transhumanism?
This is the wikipedia definition:
Transhumanism is an international philosophical movement that advocates for the transformation of the human condition by developing and making widely available sophisticated technologies to greatly enhance human intellect and physiology.
Transhumanist thinkers study the potential benefits and dangers of emerging technologies that could overcome fundamental human limitations as well as the ethical limitations of using such technologies. The most common transhumanist thesis is that human beings may eventually be able to transform themselves into different beings with abilities so greatly expanded from the current condition as to merit the label of posthuman beings.

While reading this line,
"greatly enhance human intellect and physiology."
This really seems like a great invention that we could certainly use for the benefit of human kind.
However these lines get me a bit more disturbed,
"be able to transform themselves into different beings with abilities so greatly expanded from the current condition as to merit the label of posthuman beings."
So understading transhumanism is enhancing or changing a human being. Wich can be done trough means of technology , artificial intelligence , DNA modifications , nanobots.
In essance the human is not good enough and needs to be augmented, many of the pro-transhumanists believe the human body is not good enough and want it to be better , faster ,smarter. We do have a hollywood hype that is going for a long time and has been accumulating, and that is the superhuman movies. wether it is spider-man , superman, marval superheros , dragonball z , the x-men. The list is long.
I do understand human nature can be fragile, we do tend to have bad health globaly or sicknesses and illnesses. But do look at what we eat and it is true, U are what U eat. we as humans can easily be fatigued or feel bad or just break bones and have a lot of physicial pains. maybe technology could advance that we can have the best health we can be there can be great progress like hearing aids, robotic parts of the body as a result of amputation.
But where will be the limit
Let's say in the coming decenia , they can augment a human being trough means of an insertion of DNA, they can augment capacity of eyes to see different spectrums of light a human can not see, they can enhance the human body with strenght of a lion, the capacity to camouflage their appearance like a cameleon. They can stop the teleremes from aging and a person would not age anymore.
This would make a destinct difference between a human being and a POSThuman. Would first this technology be available for everyone and second would this not make a breakaway civilisation between the 2 categories of humans and would they still be able to live one and another on the same planet,
humans tend to fear what they do not understand and should someone far more intelligent and stronger be tolerant and sympathetic to a race that is inferior??
Where are we today?
We today have the ability to slice and insert DNA into a living organism,

Do It Yourself CRISPR KIT
What Is CRISPR?
CRISPR technology is a simple yet powerful tool for editing genomes. It allows researchers to easily alter DNA sequences and modify gene function. Its many potential applications include correcting genetic defects, treating and preventing the spread of diseases and improving crops. However, its promise also raises ethical concerns.
There are countries they use this technology to experiment on animals with DNA from humans, but we must ask the question, will they become sentient beings ? and what if they do??
we need to have a global discussion about these subjects because experiments are being done and once a change in DNA is made it is IRREVERISBLE.
The coming of DNA changes in humans will come to this generation and those to come
In the next part I will discuss further into transhumanism and aspects.
