RE: Killing transparencybot - A message to spammers with no SP!

Even though it created some kinda awareness on fair usage and all that, which was pretty cool, it did make people feel bad a bit, and this is the blockchain. I feel people could use their funds however they saw fit.

Again, bots aren't really the problem. Fair usage is. I would love to see the day bot owners create a tool for sorting out articles that are good enough to be boosted, and those that aren't. It would improve the overall value of the blockchain as per content creation.

Sort:

We just need some common sense. It's pretty clear when we see a lazy post that perhaps didn't deserve a high payout. It's a little bit annoying when someone creates a bot that comments on your articles and you did not ask for it yes yes.

True.

Only the audio tts bot I love hahahah. I wish he could be used on the articles you wanted. This account @tts since I find it highly useful considering audio is the future and saves time

'Quality' however, is in the eye of the beholder? Would you select Youtube videos on their quality? Some of the biggest hits are the worst vids!

This is wrong. Quality is defined as in what people desire to click on and that have long watch time on.

That tool is called "a human." Bots will never be able to detect quality content which is why most of the bots ARE the problem.

Fishy!!! :-D.

Then by all means the bots should have people employed to check that.

Wait, we've already been singing that to them yeah? They won't listen, would they?

Smartmarket and Minnowbooster both do this; SM employs people the traditional way and MB gives an affiliate payment. I'm one of the most active at evaluating accounts on the Minnowbooster side.
