Yet another piece of Vienna. This time it's the Volksgarten, a park that was made public in imperial times (1823), before it was dedicated to the aristocracy. It stretches over an area of 5 ha in the middle of Vienna (1st district), close to Hofburg the residential building of the Austrian President.
Here are a few impressions of the place.

The Renaissance Fountain
In the middle to the left you can see a bit of Vienna's town hall stretching above the trees.
The Theseus Temple

Have a wonderful day my lovely ones!
Enjoy the sunshine. Every city needs nice parks for everyone to use. Luckily I live in the countryside with plenty of green space. Not so many fountains though ;)

But usually you've got more creeks in the countryside, who needs fountains then ;)
