Hello everybody!!
Sorry, I haven't posted from 2 days. I had been working in the team for the "TEDx- THE UNSEEN" which happened in Jaipur on Saturday. I will make a post about it very soon. But first things first!
Some of you know I had been travelling last week. And today I am sharing pictures from my UDAIPUR trip which I went with two of my friends. This trip was totally different for me from the other trips that I generally go to. Let me tell you why.
Our accommodation was arranged through one of my friend. The people were very generous and kind, humble, carefree AND very creative too! The location of the house was sort of on an isolated area from the city and had this view where all the lakes and the city could be seen! We reached Udaipur at break of the dawn and the sunrise was just beautiful.
The people in whose house we stayed do all sorts of recreational activity. For eg: the following pictures are of their gates which really caught my attention.
From cycling tours to organizing various workshops ( art, dance, music, games) etc. I had attended their workshop last year in Jaipur as well. But this time I got to interact and really connect with them. Also, they believe in recycling and up-cycling things which was amazing! :)
So, I was introduced to this thing called "Wisdom walk". This walk was led by 2 people and we moved around streets and corners, lakes to temples talking about the history and importance of each of them. This was something I had never done or experienced before. It really had an impact on me and changed my perspective! I got to know so much about this city, from history to modern architecture, the kings, tombs etc.

At the evening, we attended the "UDAIPUR WORLD MUSC FESIVAL" which people from around the world had come to see. It was near the Fatehsagar Lake which was like the perfect location.
Stage 1
We took a break for some time and roamed around and headed back home and enjoyed the sunset with a nice cup of tea and a lovely company :P

Stage 2 - Back to the Fest
We ended the night with bonfire with some music, food and dance which was like icing on cake!! It was an amazing day and I got to learn and observe A LOT. I will be posting about the second and final part tomorrow as it was difficult to cover everything in this post :)
I hope you liked it! Lots Of Love <3
