Monterrey is the second largest city of Mexico, is located at the north of the country, surrounding by a lot of big mountains and very warm people. There are a lot of places to go and visit, here I am going to put my top five and the ones you should visit
5.- Cerro de la Silla
You can access walking, this is the most recommended, so you can see all of the magnificent of the city and appreciate a beautiful walk. But is you are not into it you can go by car
4.- Parque fundidora
This use to be one of the biggest industrial complex, not only for the state of Nuevo León, but for the hole country, a lot of history in this place
3.- El Gran Pastor
If you came to Monterrey and do not try the “cabrito” is like you have never been there. This restaurant, for me, is the best choice to try it
2.- waterfall Cola de Caballo
A beautiful waterfall near Monterrey with an amazing view. Yo can enjoy a beautiful walk on it’s amazing landscapes with an impressive view
1.- Matacanes
Or as I call it extreme body rafting, this is a really exited trip, where you can experience a lot of challenging situations, with an amazing walk, you are going to be jumping into waterfalls, doing rappelling. This is my all time favorite
There a lot more thing to do, Monterrey, has a very nice shopping centers, restaurant, night clubs, and the Macro Plaza. Monterrey is one of the best places to visit with very warm and nice people
