TripFM #19: Icod de los Vinos, Tenerife Island, Spain, 2008 (16 pics)

On the west coast of the island of Tenerife located a pretty interesting town Icod de los Vinos (all links are links to google maps).



At first look, Icod de los Vinos is unattractive:



A modern city with ocean views:





Ordinary streets, ordinary houses:



But as soon as you start a walk, you will see a completely different city:













In Icod de los Vinos there are Parque del Drago where you find famous dragon tree (Dracaena draco or Draco Milenario), the largest specimen of its species:



And all sorts of other trees:



There are the park of butterflies, Mariposario del Drago:





In the end, it will turns out, Icod de los Vinos is a very nice town for a walk for a couple of hours:
