Ciao, Italia!

Hello, my dear Steemians!

I am again on a short escape to Italy, preparing to attend the famous Carnival of Venice which will start on Jan 27, 2018. I'm very excited about it as it's my first time when I go to this carnival.

Meanwhile, I've spent a beautiful evening in the charming Bologna, a cozy and picturesque Italian city, the capital of Emilia-Romagna region.

In case you haven't visited yet, you should add it on your list. You won't be dissapointed. Its tiny streets, old buildings, churches and art galleries worth being visited.

The oldest university of Europe is also located in Bologna.

Besides, you can enjoy a few hours of shopping. It's not Milan, but there are plenty of nice Italian fashion shops within this city with lovely items.

And if you are still wondering if you should pay it a visit, well you should know that here you can find the best Italian food. Bologna is world renowned for its tasteful dishes.

Good photo!

Thank you!

Good picture of italia, I like milan city 👍👍 are you italian ?
@alinabarbu

I think that Milano is one of the worst Italian cities, except for a couple of famous spots. You should visit some other places, for example Venice, Turin, Tuscany, Rome, Sicily, Sardegna or anything else.

Is it really like that ?
I just know, hopefully I can visit other cities

Milan is good for shopping, but in terms of history, architecture nice spots, I would definitely go for other Italian cities as mentioned by @foodart. Rome, Florence, Venice are real architectural treasures with breathtaking views. They are pretty crowded, especially during summer, but they are a must when visiting Italy. Cinque Terre region and Sicilly& Sardegna are also great for summer/beach vacation and with wonderful historical cities.

thank you for giving me information about italian country.😁😁😁😁

you are a good italian, hopefully italia be a tourist destination of all people.😥👍👍👍😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

As @foodart mentioned, those are tortellini with a creamy parmesan sauce

The next time you wanna go there, just call me so we can make the trip together.

Nice photos and the tortellini dish seems deliciou! Please post some Venice carnival photos, too, when you'll get there. I would really like to attend to this carnival in the future! I've just been to Venice once and it was during the film festival.

Thank you! They were really good:)
I will post some new photos. I hope the weather will get better. A bit foggy so far, but the city is still wonderful.

Looks like you had a great time :) I have never been to Bologna but would love to go. I was in Rome a few years ago and I did not really like it there. It was great to see the Colosseum and a few other places but other than that I didn't like it.

very good time to join in!take more photos therein! cheers @alinabarbu!!!
