I stayed permanent resident of Montreal canada for 3 years and from day 1 i started to explore this new city .
Montreal is part of Quebec so to explore the city you have to know french they call their language “ Québécois “ it’s the same french language but if you’re born in quebec you’ll understand more . I’m gonna tell you about this later .
So i started to learn the french language for 9 month almost a year , our teacher always told us that the french that we’re learning is not the same as the “ Québécois “ we laughed at him . But when i started to communicate with the québécois then i knew that my teacher was right .
I started to know more about the food that they love and is one of the best in the world . Tell me your opinion if you’ve tried it before .

Poutine is the most delicious version of fries you’ll ever taste . They have poutine everywhere in the coffee shops , restaurants, food trucks and even the most famous food places that you know . So basically if you don’t find something to eat you have the Poutine option .
It’s french fries topped with cheese curds and poutine gravy . Yum!!!!
They also sell in every supermarket and liquor stores bags of cheese curds and canned poutine gravy !!! Isn’t that crazy !! So that if you need poutine you can make your own Canadian style .
The restaurants have lot of options like you can top it with chicken, smoked meat etc
Look at this ... yumm!!!
2.bold Montreal style bagels
I dont think I’ve tasted bagels anywhere like this , I can’t even explain how yummy they are !! There’s just one store that makes the bagels and sends it to all of montreal !! Me and my husband visited the store that they make the bagel and give you right from the over we took 6 bagels each bagel was 90 cents ! The owner said you’ll come back for them !! We came back to the car without touching the cream cheese i ate 3 bagels my husband ate 3 bagels !! We went back and bought 12 more . The owner was right . 
Before they bake it they put it in a honey water and then they bake it !! The store is called Saint Viateur Bagel They’re open since 1957 . 
3.bold Smoked meat sandwiches
They look good , they taste even better !
We visited montreal for one week and we ate 3 times . It’s the most delicious sandwich you’ll eat .
