Hi everybody!
So, we're in Seattle! We've been here 4 days now. It's been so much fun. We have loved seeing all of the sights!
On the first day we left very early so that we arrived at a reasonable time in Seattle so we would have enough time to sightsee.
On the drive we stopped by this Colombia River. It was SO pretty! I had no idea it was there and it was surprising! I would definitely recommend going there!
The first thing we did there when we arrived was the aquarium! We both enjoyed it. They have an area where you could go outside and look at the seals and the ocean. It was really pretty!
This jellyfish was pretty cool! They were so small and cute!
Afterwards, we went to the pike place market. It was Valentines Day, so everyone was there buying flowers. It was a bit crowded. We walked around, sampled a few things, and watched the fish throw at the fish market. We got these mini donuts, and they were so delicious! They weren't too rich or too bland, they were perfect!
My husband and I researched a lot about Seattle, one things that came up was "Rachel's Ginger Beer". I am not a fan of ginger but when I took a sample, it was delicious! My husband ordered one for both of us and we really enjoyed it! I wanted more of it! We were supposed to go back and get some more for home but completely forgot about it. Maybe we will have time tomorrow!
Our first day was so much fun, we saw a lot of neat things, and was very tired when we arrived to the house.

Those markets are so much fun....and the food is great...there is a place similar to this market on Granville Island....I love going there. I would love the ginger beer...as a fan of ginger ale, I can only imagine.

Well this is a fine mess you got us into! Seattle is a lovely place to visit and very interesting, you highlighted some of the things we see, especially the markets. Ginger beer is my husband's favourite drinks and I will show him this (he's a retired professional chef) as he'll be delighted. Must go back. Thanks for a lovely post.
