Yes!! Festival Season Is Finally Here
My tickets finally arrived! The countdown begins now! over £1000 for 2 tickets is mental but is definitely money well spent! I need this once a year to reconnect with the planet!
So I'm off to Glastonbury for the third year on the trot! Expect absolute madness for a week! There's gonna be copious amounts of techno and drugs! I'm hoping it doesn't become a fucking mud bath like last year!!

This doesn't do it justice. It doesn't list any of the house or techno acts but that's the thing I love about Glasto! They have so many surprise acts and DJ's that you are never short of things to do or people to see!
The Place Turns Into A Mini-City For A Week!
I've only been 3 times, unlike some of my other mates who claim to be basically born there! But I have yet to see 80% off the place, it's absolutely huge! Up to 300,000 people are expected to flock there over the next few weeks, a few of my pals help out with the set design and build, some of them travel up weeks in advance to get everything ready for the stampede of weelies!

Now I personally choose not to take anything that goes up my nose, but I do enjoy taking ecstasy or MDNA and i smoke weed like a pro! But with so much shit flying around nowadays you can never be too careful about what you're actually taking!
Last year for the first time ever at a UK festivals, party goers were able to have their drugs tested! I personally never took up thier offer, being sceptical about the police. This year however with the rise in strength of ecstasy in the UK being the most probable cause for the increase in drug-related deaths im taking no chances!
Charity The Loop ran the scheme where around 200 people tested their illegal drugs at the Secret Garden Party in Cambridgeshire. With a suprising amount actually choosing to dispose of the drugs after finding out the shit that was actually in them! Theres plans to extend the scheme to 10 festivals this year!

There were Fifty-seven deaths from ecstasy use in 2015 and with 90% of club goers in support of drug testing at venues, i think this is something that should be adopted at all major festivals in the UK and abroad! Let me know what you think in the comments

Saying I'm jealous would be an understatement. Glasto is one of my favourite places on Earth and since moving down under one of the things I miss the most.
Tip: If you hadn't have the chance before, best gigs I enjoyed were at The Crows Nest. Bands only get announced on the day (normally a band that plays at some bigger stage that day).
The two bands from this year's lineup I recommend the most I actually saw them there too a couple years ago and were immense: 'King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizards' and 'Songhoy Blues'
