Twilight Open Air Festival V14

Twilight Festival has come a long way with the 15th Twilight coming up end of March. Produced by Underground Sound on the bank of the Vaal river, this 3 day music festival is the highlight of the year for many people on the dance floor.

My wife and I actually met at the first Twilight Festival in 2011 and we have been dancing together ever since! That's why Twilight Festival will always be close to our hearts. Over the years, we delved deeper and deeper into the festival. I can remember telling her at the first Twilight, that one day I would like to stand on the other side of the dance floor and be the one providing the music. This at the time felt like a far away dream...

After many years of practice and experimentation, I made it on the lineup at Twilight V11 and have been playing there ever since. What I did not see coming back in the day, was that my wife will be part of Twilight in a different way. In 2017 we started doing group meditations at festivals and the day we were asked to do an opening ceremony at Twilight was a big honour.

My wife, Odette facilitates the group love anchoring meditation, while I provide the sound journey and when the meditation is finished I continue with my set. This is a great combination to open the festival and anchor deep intentions of love and unity at the festival.

The Love Anchoring Meditation was born of Twin Flame love and we will forever continue to share this love with all that we encounter. We have since it's inception done the love anchoring meditation at various music festivals in South Africa as well as Shankra Festival in Switzerland. The love we feel resonating from the group is something special and to stand in and hold space for all beings is a great privilege.
