Icelandic spa resort, located in a geothermal area in southwestern Iceland, on the Reykjanes peninsula, near the town of Grindavík, several kilometers south of the city of Keflavík.
This place offers the opportunity to bathe in hot water rich in minerals. They help in skin diseases.Blue Lagoon is the most popular tourist attraction of Iceland - it is visited by over 400,000 visitors a year.
National Geographic put it on its list of 25 wonders of the world, arguing that "smoking pools with a turquoise color closed in a volcanic trap resemble a landscape from another planet." Blue Lagoon also received many other prizes, including Blue Flag, "TripAdvisor excellence certificate", "the best SPA in Scandinavia" according to SpaFinder and "one of the 10 best SPA in the world" and "the best health and thermal SPA in the world" according to Conde Nast Traveler.

I visited here in April of 2017. The country is so beautiful. I was driving with my partner and over the course of a few hours we drove past volcanos, caves, mountains, ocean, farmlands, and volcanic fields. Stopped to hike at all of them :)
