The Hungarian capital city could be described as gorgeous, lively, and cheap. What's there not to like?
On a hot summer day, approximately 38°C, the surrounding beauty made it easy to forget the heat. Walking the entire town is rather doable and enjoyable; there are always interesting sites nearby. The city is divided into two parts, Buda, and Pest. Clever, don't you think? I must say Buda was my favourite part due to the scenic walks in nature that you can take, and the amazing views of the city you can see.
As one might expect, Buda is quite a relaxing place. It seemed to me not many people live in that part of town. The lack of many loud business and presence of nature really gives the place a peaceful atmosphere.
In Pest you can find all the 'typical city' establishments. This is where the livelihood comes in. It seems the city never sleeps; the citizens are always out and about, and the choices for entertainment or culture seem unlimited.
My favourite building, though perhaps cliche, was the parliament. Simply stunning.
