The Sudden Plan

On the third quarter of the year 2015, my *partner in crime suddenly suggested to me about the trip to Krabi. The ideas appears due to cheap air freight promotion done by Air Asia on that particular week.

Since, the ticket was relatively cheap and worth it, he convinced me just to bought the tickets first, the rest will follow suit. The plan is if we unable to make it the day, we just void the ticket. Of course, I agreed and also share the overall cost too.

Yay or Nay

When the day approaches, I have been facing a lot of troubles especially regarding my passport issuance. Yes, in my country, you are not allowed to be abroad for some offences that you have done.

In my case, I was unable to create my passport because I had student loans through our national students loan body. Supposedly, any borrower was given a levy period of 1 year after they got a job. However, my special case was, the loan body put me on blacklist way before I was posted my job.

I terminated the loan back on my first year of study as I received a scholarship. The national fund corporation presume that the year I terminated my loan is my final year of my study. Hence, after more than three years, that is my graduation year, their system straight away channel my name to the blacklisted list.

This problem causing me to pay upfront of 1K bucks before proceeds to issues my passport. It made me to go to the custom departments office and the national borrower offices multiple times. At some point, I thought it is just not worth it, I did speak to my PIC (partner in crime) about canceling the trip.

However, he motivate me from time to time. I felt very much reluctant to proceed with the plan as the situation seems unfavourable towards me. Not just it became more costly as I need to pay the upfront money, it was the very final month before the flight. That upfront money supposedly the budget for the trip has no longer there.

Still, I managed to hold those pressure, and those custom and loan issue eventually solved. So, fast forward to the day, 8 months after the ticket booking, I encountered a major set back. This is the climax of the upsets moment, I was miscalculated my travel time to airport causing me to missed my flight.

The brief initial plan was I am flying from my place and meet up with my partner at the another airport. From that airport, it is where our krabi bound flight. However, this situation causing us to resort to cancel the plan at the very last minutes.

Here comes my motivator, the partner in crime, he came up with very emergency plan which he suggested me to bought another ticket with the help of his brother.
