The red center | Australia

Outback

One of the most spectacular places I've visited on my journey around Australia was the outback and the sacred mountain of the aborigines - Uluru.
As this famous mountain has its own history I will make an extra post about it later :)

The sunrise is breathtaking but you have to get up very early (we awoke at 4am and stood in front of Uluru at 4.45am, shortly before the sun appears behind it.

There's never one sunrise the same or one sunset the same.

Red Desert

On our way back to the next village (about 6 hours drive from Uluru) we met some horses.
These horses are called Brumbys and they are wild! No stable, no farmer, only desert and wildness!
Moreover I was amazed about all the plants and flowers which are growing in the hot and dry desert.

Thanks for reading!
See you :)

I have been there all ready 5 times. And you are right. It is never the same. You can't stop taking pictures. One time we had a lot of rain. Uluru looks like a waterfal.
I like this sacret place very much. For sure, I will go there again next time.

5 times?? You're lucky ;) i'dlike to see Uluru when it rains, I've heard a lot about the beauty of this rock during wet seasons :)

So beautiful. I have yet to get out there. One day !

Yap you should :)

Spectacular indeed. I know that I have said this before but someday I need to visit Australia. The desert has such a unique beauty to it.
