Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. Opened in 1595. This temple is based in the royal palace of the Kingdom of Kandy. Housing the legendary Budda tooth.  

  Founder vimaladharmasuriya.  King Vimaladharmasuriya builds a two-storey building to deposit the tooth relic.

    Thanks for the photos. I visited Sri Lanka in my early 20s - some time ago now! I loved it.
