It had been long time and we haven't went out to travel so suddenly our team plan out for the trip to Mount Abu. wait wait... I'll let you know about the place Mount Abu, but please let's keep some patience and will go with flow step by step. Kunal Sharma the guy who takes care of our team finance suddenly discussed the plan with us and we headed for mount abu.
Mount Abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan located at Gujarat-Rajasthan border and is the favorite outing place for Gujratis as the climate and the scenery is too good out here to enjoy and get refresh. The history of Mount Abu is wrapped up in legends. According to one, Mount Abu derives its name from Mount Arbud when the youngest son of Himalaya, along with the assistance of a snake called Arbud flooded the gorge in the area with water to save Shiva's revered bull.
So we left for Mount Abu from Ahmedabad on Saturday evening packing up our all stuff and with the hope that weather would be too good as it was raining heavily and is always dangerous to go uphill during rainy season but we kept our faith and took our risk to explore the place.
Smiling faces and excitement on everyone's face as we begin our journey
The Journey didn't started well. Hardly we had traveled few miles and we came to know that our car was puncture and everyone was disappointed. But yes this was the time we had fun, we started talking bullshit things about how universe works and psychology till the time our car was getting fix. Kunal had good time to exploring car and exploring other proffesion of mechanic but he was super unsuccessful . hahaha...
Kunal Trying hard for Mechanic Profession
The car finally got fixed up and we headed to Mount abu. We reached there around 10 o'clock in the night and the atmosphere was too good. It was drizzling and people were enjoying the rains on mountain. We had our party time and went to bed in late night after talking utter bullshit after drinking and having great fun with each other.
The next morning we headed to explore mountains as it was raining so we were restricted to go to various places because of climatic conditions and we had fewer options but we made sure that we enjoy whatever we've got to do.
Mountains & Clouds and the splendid view of Aravalli Range
About Aravalli Ranges
Dominating the Indian state of Rajasthan, the Aravalli hills are the range of mountains that stretch diagonally from Kotra in the northeast to Khetri in the southwest direction. Aravalli's are the oldest existing mountains in the world. Guru Shikhar (1721m) is the highest point of the range, located at about 15 km from northeast of Mount Abu. The Aravalli acts as the edge, which separates the Thar desert from the plains and plateaus of the eastern Rajasthan. Spread over 600 km these Aravalli range protect the city of Rajasthan from the rough desert. Not only this for several centuries these hills are also providing security to the city of Rajasthan.
We had few great glimpse out there and good moments to enjoy with all of them. The place is too good to visit if you want to escape from scorching heat of gujarat and rajasthan.
Beautiful Weather and Friends
Chirag Becoming Shepherd
The fun was on and we were heading to some lesser known places in mountains and exploring them to the fullest. Meanwhile we went to the Nakki lake a famous and most visited place. Nakki lake the mythological lake with the interesting story behind it's creation is the heart of Mount Abu, the legend has it that this lake was dugg by Gods or Devtas using their nails or nakh that's why the name Nakki Lake - few sections of local tribes also consider Nakki Lake as a holy lake and worship it, Nakki lake is also the only Indian artificial lake situated at a height of 1200 Mtr's above sea level.
