๐Fuji
Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan, 3,776 m high. Fuji Mountain is a volcano whose last eruption was in 1707, but geologists generally still rank it in the active. The name of the mountain originates from Aina and means eternal life. After the surrender, the volcano was formed due to an earthquake. The age of Fuji is contested, it is assumed to have been formed in the period of the quarter, beginning with the foundations in the tertiary period. Although it seems to be a simple volcano-shaped volcano, Fuji actually consists of three separate volcanoes.
Mount Fuji, with its elegant, swarthy shape, has become famous all over the world and is considered to be the sacred symbol of Japan. Among the Japanese there is a sense of personal identification with the mountain, so that every spring thousands of them climb to the temple on its top.
