During our stay in San Francisco, California we visited Alcatraz Island. It was extremely windy and cold as we definitely weren't prepared for the bay weather! I absolutely loved my visit to the island, the tours were great and it was so fascinating seeing the old abandoned buildings such as the one I have entered in my image for todays competition. Nature was starting to take over the old buildings on the island I thought the contrast between these two elements was so beautiful.
