This is the second part of my travel blog for my hubby's hometown - Calamba, Misamis Occidental. Sorry for posting this a week after I post the first one. And if you haven't read the first part where I featured the "Unspoiled Boracay of Misamis Occidental", click here. You don't wanna miss it for the world.

Before we reached the floating cottage, we had a five-minute boat ride. I must say it's always safe with life jackets but I just can't remember why some were not wearing theirs. It might be that there is a fee for it and the goggles too, so not all did avail for it. Also, I didn't know how much they paid for the ride and the cottage. Or should I say I did not bother to know. But we had so much fun as you can see in our smiles.
Everyone then immediately took a dip of vitamin SEA. My nieces and nephew enjoyed swimming with the fishes so much. They did not even bother the strong current. This tour had my heart. It was really a heart-warming experience with my new family. And I am so privilege for being a part of it.
Sadly, hubby and I didn't brought any extra clothes for swimming. Still we enjoyed the view and seeing the kids enjoyed our little tour. But more we enjoyed eating. That's our favorite hobby. The food was great cooked by some locals and of course we paid for it. That is their source of income too aside from boat ride, goggles, and life jacket rents. We had nothing to worry about because the locals made everything available with just one text away. From our boat ride, to our food and down to the medicine for my brother-in-law who had a headache.

What I like most of our Caluya Floating Cottage experience was feeding the fishes. We fed fishes with some bread and rice from our leftovers. Though we did not ask the boatman about fish feeding and continued to do so. I guess it's okay since it happened years ago and he never knew about it.
Hope you like our little tour! Will be back again to the place where I newly found my second home - Calamba, Misamis Occidental.

P.S. Another sneak peek to watch out for. The "Mini Christ the Redeemer of Misamis Occidental". So if you happen to visit Calamba, please go to these places and have a little adventure. You might miss half of your life.

I've never been to caluya "floating cottage". Even if it's not that far from Oroquieta City, still i don't have time and money to go there. Such a wonderful place!
