My Travel To Siwa in Egypt

in #travel7 years ago

The face of Egypt towards Libya may also be considered. When I went there, I could easily distinguish people from their tongues, their clothes and their way of life. Although it is thought that there is what to see in the middle of the desert, it is really a city like every bobble treasure. A unique place to find peace.

After we ventured into the hotel, we headed for "The Mountain Of The Death".
The Mountain Of The Death

It did not take much time to get to the top of this mountain, which is completely made up of graves. But the hot weather suffocated us. New Siwa from the top of the mountain was selected with every detail. We did not have much time to get into the graves altogether, but I could get into a few. As far as I could see, it was similar to the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. the ancient Egyptian stories in the tombs, the great events of the kings and the ancient Egyptian gods, the wars the kings participated in were described by hieroglyphs. It has been very painful for me that the graves were looted and the works could not be reached daily. There are many things worth seeing.

I was on my way to Fatnis Island without losing my time.
Fatnis Island

Although it is not exactly an island, this half-island-shaped place is undoubtedly a perfect spot for sunsets. A place that should not be missed for those who want to take photos. The candidate is decorating palm trees and preserves all her naturalness, even though it is almost a tourist destination.

After a long day I returned to the hotel and set my schedule for the trip tomorrow.

I woke up in the morning and after breakfast I headed towards Dakrur Mountain.
Dakrur Mountain

A consensus celebration is held in the northern part of the Dakrur Mountain, called "Syrah Festival", held every October (during the Full Moon days). I went to the top of the mountain for a longer walk compared to The Mountain Of The Death. One of the incredible places for cruising again. There are ancient Egyptian houses in the foothills of the mountain.

I got out of the mountain and got out of the way and headed for "Siwa Salt Lake".
"Siwa Salt Lake"

Before we go here, I suggest that you allocate your sea shoe, which you can wear in your swimwear and water. Because sharp crystal salt rocks in the lake can cause discontinuities in your feet, hurting yourself in the event of a possible blow. The amount of salt water is quite high and almost impossible to bathe. You can not have a shower with fresh water after leaving the water, but there is a pool with fresh water that you can enter short distance. I'm on the way to Cleopatra's Pool.

Cleopatra's Pool

A rare example of the freshwater resources artificially created by indigenous people. A good alternative to cool down in Siwa's warm air. I swam a little, and after I had eaten my lunch, I set out for Shali Fortress.

Shali Fortress

In Central Siwa, this extraordinary organic form of this mud-bristle remains, built in the 13th century, is dominant. The labyrinth of mixed buildings was made four or five times as high as the Kershef (made from plaster mixed with rock) and home to hundreds of people. A path passes over the ruins of the ruins, passing through the old Camiyi chimney-shaped minaret, for panoramic views.

Over the centuries, there were few foreigners in the castle, and fewer people came to tell the story. However, the three-day rain in 1926 caused more damage than the maneuver of any occupant, and over the past decade the population has moved into newer and more comfortable houses with flowing water and electricity. Now a few buildings on the edge are occupied or used for storage.

I returned to my hotel to rest after sunset.

With the first light of the day, of course I came out to the road of Siva Oasis with vehicles suitable for the land. It provides incredible opportunities for oasis safari. The safari in the fridge allows you to spend hours of incredible fun.

There are a lot of lakes in Siwa Oasis that will allow us to cool off when we are warm during the safari. These stones are surprisingly cool or hot. I strongly advise those coming here to bring their aquariums and sunscreen.

We started preparations to camp after pleasant chilling minutes. We got our tentacles, thick blanketes, our food and plenty of water to drink. It was quite difficult to stay in the night because we were exposed to the sandstorms with the wind in addition to the wind. On the other hand, the clarity of the sky was nothing other than a place to witness. In spite of day time, night time was quite cool.

I left prematurely in the morning without getting hot. There was a last place I had to see before returning to my hotel in Cairo today ...
Museum of Siwa Traditions

This museum house allows you to learn about the lifestyle and culture of the Old Siwa people. The museum, which was built into a house where the people of old siwa live, has clothes and jewels worn by the people of that period.
