Get your name to the sun!
When reading news theres sometimes some odd things you come across, I recall a few years back i bought some land in Scotland I think for like $5 just to get a certificate, but it was fun.
So today I came across a story about the Parker Solar Probe, the probe itself is not very new, buuuuuuuut, Nasa has now opened up for getting your name on a microchip that will be in the probe. Many might think, god this is stupid, but my reaction was FUCK YEAH!!!!
So now I got my ticket ready, see picture: (oh this is free btw!)
This is available for all the people in the world, and to get your ticket is very easy.
First goto their website here (its not a scam or referal or any other bs. The link is to The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.)
Second enter your very simple details, please note that you need to access the email you provide.
Thirdly click the confirmation link in your mail (it can take a while before it comes)
And Woooop! you got a ticket to the sun! how cool is that!?

If you want the short version, well... The Parker Solar Probe will be launched in start/middle August, from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, its goal is to get as close to the sun as possible (yes it has lots of protection, just incase it gets hot) like a thick shield of carbon fiber.
The hope is that this probe will fully reach the sun's atmosphere where it can catch and see sunstorms from an upclose distance like never before, and this will help scientists understand stuff better.
